One of our users NYY 4 Life attended the Undertaker signing and sent us a report.

NYY 4 Life with The Undertaker

NYY 4 Life’s Undertaker Autographs

I’ll try to keep it short. Me, My wife & 2 friends arrived around 12:15 and were the first 4 in line and little by little the line grew but it didnt get long till about 30 mins before it started. The woman running it said they sold 272 tickets (of which i bought 12 and if i had to guess i’d say that there was about 150 PPL on line. They let us in around 6:15 and me and my wife were the first 2 in Taker said hello to us and we said hello back. I had 2 bags of of stuff of which contained 15 figures, 2 promos, WM 25 program & a danbury mint gold card. Off topic for a second i got married this past Dec and me and my wife walked out to takers theme and i wore a black leather coat, the hat and had my hair down and the DJ had the strobe light & purple light going and and takers song was blasting and it was INSANE. So i had just that part copied to a DVD and i gave it to him and i threw about 30 pics of my collection in with the DVD. When i walked in i handed him the DVD and told him what we did and he was like Are you serious and i said to look at the pic on the DVD case and he was like Thats Awesome. So I put 4 figures i needed signed in silver on the table and taker says “What are you gonna do with these” and i said put them on my wall and my wife said that we had put pics of my collection in the DVD. So he popped open the DVD case real quick and looked through about 10 pics and looked up at me, put out his hand and thanked me for being a true fan so i shook his hand and said your welcome and i thanked him for signing all my stuff. so as he’s signing my stuff i’m taking to him and as he’s signing my wife is throwing more stuff on the table so after he signed all 19 of my things we got the pics with him. then as we were leaving he said he was gonna watch the DVD when he got back to his hotel and we both thanked him. All in all it was a pretty awesome day so i cant complain. heres pics of my signed stuff and my pic with him

class316’s Undertaker autographs

Let us now step out of the Savage realm and into a realm one notch below the Savage realm: An autograph signing with the Undertaker.

When this signing was announced, I almost immediately bought my meet and greet tickets.

I of course received a lot of criticism from people online and offline. Most people cannot justify going out of one’s way for just one person. And I agree with that notion. To be honest there are very very few people I would make a plane trip for. However, this statement is a moot point because the Undertaker is not just a man. He is the deadman!

This also has to mark the first time I pull a Ben and hop on a plane for one meet.

Price wise, I honestly did not spend much more in this trip than I did for a typical NE convention (superticket + vendors + travel costs). Although I now have a balance on a 6 month interest free credit card that I obtained especially for this trip. I just have to make sure I make at least the minimum payment each month and have no balance after the 6 month deadline. Not too shabby.

Plus I did not only get Undertaker on that trip. I will make a separate report for the non-Undertaker FCW portion of the trip. This report shall remain “Undertaker only” because, well do you really need to ask why?

As stated, the lines did not seem as bad as you would have thought considering it’s the Undertaker. To be honest a the free John Morrsion signing at Best Buy in NJ had more of a Hogan type line than this one!! Of course had this signing been in NJ for $50 an item free photo op you know he would have drawn Hogan x 100. He would have probably needed his own terminology!

Anyhow, it is my turn to meet the Undertaker. They were singling out people with multiple tickets, so when I was allowed to enter I sprung inside before they changed their mind. As I looked there he was, the pheenom, the deadman, in the flesh! I could not believe it!

Finally it’s my turn to meet the Undertaker. I could not believe I was in his presence. I could feel the energy of the awesomeness of the Undertaker! How cool is that?

Sig will be shocked to know that he was actually pretty friendly. Kinda like Randy Orton, Arn Anderson, and Dean Malenko at a signing. I told him what a huge fan I was since 91/92. He thanked me for that. When it came time to have my photo op I begged them to make it a good one. Thankfully it turned out pretty decent!

A PICTURE OF ME WITH THE UNDERTAKER!!!!

A phrase I never thought I’d ever utter in my life without waking up in my bed realizing it was just a dream and telling myself the picture will not actually be in the memory card of my camera!

I am going to make this into a poster! And it will be the center of my Undertaker shrine!!

All in all I got 7 things signed.

That WWF WM13 mag is now complete!! In this order I got Bret, Sid, HBK, Undertaker.

I now consider the Undertaker VIRGILIZED (wow I cannot believe I just typed that!)

While I could use him on at least 2 more things if not more, I will never go out of my way to meet the Undertaker again! He would have to be either within a 1 hour driving distance free signing or someplace I’m already at

And when/if he ever does a convention, he will no doubt be Hogan prices. So I will happily pass on the $200 autograph. As Kris would put it, OVERUSED!!

As it stands, wrestling wise the only thing that could get me back to Tampa is Triple H.

Another one of our users oldschoolwwwf met the Undertaker and sent us a report.

I’ll make this somewhat brief since Rich did a great job on his report and I’m sure Class will also post something worth reading later tonight.

Me and LatinoHeat Lucas made the call to hit this very soon after it was announced. I had spoken with Tammy (who ran it) a number of times to feel this out and she totally led me to believe that Taker would definitely be doing photo ops. She told me that this was his favorite charity and that he had done events for them before and spent hours signing autos and taking photo ops with people. As someone who doesnt s t a l k, or meet, whatever, my chances of coming across Taker were very slim and even if I did, all I ever hear is no photo ops. So I did the math, figuring on 3 items, round trip air, 1 night hotel, rental car, etc, and figured we probably arent that far off $$$ wise from what it would cost me if Taker ever did a signing up here. Plus, life is short so no reason not to do it. He was probably 1 of like 3 or 4 names I would even consider this for. Also being a Wed night signing, I could fly out Wed morning, fly back Thurs morning, miss only a day and a half of work, and only 1 night with Isaac. If this would have been a weekend, very good chance I pass- but this worked out perfect. In my mind, I do think its somewhat nuts to fly somewhere just to essentially meet 1 person but at the same time, its Undertaker so what the hell.

We arrived at the Dallas Bull, a bar/ restuarant type setting around 3:30ish. Before we headed over there, we actually stopped by and met Heavenly Body Jimmy del Ray. One of the promoters who has been trying to book him had given me some info that Jimmy was only about 10 mins from the Taker signing. Since I know others had travelled to meet him at his business recently, and that he seemed cool with it, we took a ride to check it out. He was very cool, very happy to see us, to talk for a few minutes, sign our encyc and take a pic with us. Funny that later that night, we would also get a pic with and get our ency signed by the other Heavenly Body, Dr. Tom Pritchard. They havent spoken in years, and are so close in proximity, its actually kind of funny they never cross paths.

Back to Taker, we got to the event area and saw Max, Rich, etc. At that point, maybe 15 people on line and thats generous. We had heard some rumors involving Steve and his activities for the afternoon but I will not spoil anything, read his report later. Steve and his crew showed up maybe an hour later and we got the info from him directly. At that point, we waited around for FCW guys to show up for photos/ autos, while we were waiting for Taker.

We met a ton of FCW/ NXT people before the Taker signing, during, and after. There was a meet and greet that was part of the Undertaker thing with FCW wrestlers, Adam Hayward of the Tampa Bucs, some well known Tampa Bucs fan called Big Nasty (who was dressed in a picture taking worthy gimmick), and UFC fighter Tom Lawler. The FCW/ NXT wrestlers on this official meet and greet were Skip Shefield, Darren Young, Heath Slater, Vance Archer, David Otunga. You were able to get autos/ photos with each of them. Either no one knew about this or just didnt care because it seemed like only about 20-25 people or so were interested in this (it took place upstairs in the place, while Taker was going on).

Other FCW wrestlers we got photos with (and some autos) include (and I dont know most of these but who knows who hits it big I guess) Johnny Prime, Titus ONeal, Tito Colon (or Eddie Colon, Carlitos bro), Cable Jones, Tony Smith, Percy Watson, G-rilla, Conrad Tanner, Big E Langston, Duke and Bo Rotundo, Wes Brisco, Johnny Curtis, the FCW ring announcer don’t know his name, Lo-Ki (or Kaval), Jacob Novak, Mason Ryan, Michael Tarver, Jaime Keyes, Eli Cottonwood, Joe Henning, Byron Saxton, Abraham Washington, Drake Brewer, Naomi Knight, Alex Riley, Tyler Rekks, Dr. Tom Pritchard, Curtis Hawkins, Jimmy Uso, Leo Kruger, Tamina, Savannah, Trent Baretta, Caylen Croft, Devin Allen, Rhys Ali, and a few others who’s name we are not sure of. All in all, approx 50 photo ops. I’m not posting all of these though, once I set up a photo sharing album, if anyone’s interested pm me your email address and I’ll send it out to you. I know most are no names, who will never go anywhere but there were a few familiar names in there for me (mostly the kids of the legends) and you never know who might become something one day. It did get a little hectic at times, taking Lucas pics, taking Class’ pics, getting my pics done, when there would be 2, 3, 4 FCW wrestlers around at a time- a lot of scrambling. However, in the end, we basically virgilized FCW (again, not that it matters since so many of these guys will go on to nothing). Still fun though. They are all very cool, and with the exception of a few of the hotter divas who snuck out a different way to avoid the fans, I didnt see any of them refuse any fan a photo op or auto.

So to Taker.

About 5:00 pm, one hour before scheduled signing, there were maybe 60 people on line. Wow. I was thinking if this was in Jersey or NYC, is 500-1000 people unrealistic? I bought 3 tix bc I had 3 priority items for Taker. While getting stuff together, I realized that if I got the 3 projects I bought tix for (WWE Timeline poster, Top 50 mag, WWF champs poster bought by George Mayfield a few yrs ago) plus my figure 3 pack of Taker and the encyc, with a photo op, Taker would be Virgilized to me. So I brought along the 2 extra items just in case he was maybe signing extras.

When Tammy arrived, I talked to her and she indicated they were going to originally sell only 100 meet and greets but she had sold 272 of them because Taker said open it up. She agreed to sell me the last 2 tickets she had available. I figured extras were probably gonna be difficult (not withstanding that some of the guys got many extras done) and since it was for charity anyway, better to just guarantee myself the items. If I had gone home not getting those 2 extra things done, I would have been pissed I just didnt spend the money.

By the time they started after 6, the crowd had swelled to probably 120 or so- once again, Jersey or NYC, this signing would have had 500-1000 easily.

They started the signing, we were with Class and crew, maybe about 15 back. Only complaint was that those running it got frazzled at times. There was way too many staff in the room (pretty much all unnecessary) , which in my opinion just frazzles the situation more. One of the guys was griping about people who bought multiple tickets, saying next year, they will not be selling multiple tickets. I never even said a word to the guy, had all my items as ready as they could possibly be, but for some reason, he seemed to have an issue with me, looking disgusted at my 5 items, saying are you sure you have a ticket for each item (in a snarling way)? Since I did, f him, I was of course getting my stuff done. I think this dude would have glady pushed me out of the room even if I did not get all my items signed.

Taker was absolutely awesome though, in a great mood, talkative, joking, started laughing out loud at my Top 50 magaizine for some reason, asked me why I wanted blue sharpie on one of my posters, started signing my 3 pack in silver but he could tell right away the sharpie wasnt great and immediately got a new pen, even though the asshole dude was trying to rush things along. The dude also started to announce that from now on, they couldnt take the time to switch pens for different items (which I’m sure didnt happen, theres just no way it could have).

Lucas took a great photo op for me with Taker. Over the table but that was expected.

With Lucas’ photo op, which was before mine, I snapped his pic but the flash didnt work so it was kind of blurry. So I immediately said we need to do another (which pissed the guy off but what could he do, Taker was cool with it). Unfortunately, again, no flash so the pic was again kind of blurry but he wouldnt let us go again. So I started getting my stuff signed, and Lucas started to talk to the dude or another dude about a re-take. One of the suggestions was that Lucas should just jump in on my photo op. Fortunately, that wasnt the resolution- they let him do another one and I guess he fixed the flash issue bc his pic came out great.

Then, just like that, it was over. We also were given an unsigned event poster, a free t shirt (not wrestling related) and were able to sit pretty much anywhere you wanted for the matches. Some of the matches were decent but I am no longer that big on wrestling matches themselves so I watched a couple of them and just walked around and hung for most of them, bullshitting with Steve, Max, etc.

I will say that this was a very fun 24 hours, a well needed break, and once again, I got to meet one of the biggest names in wrestling that I ever will. I never thought I would ever meet Stone Cold or Undertaker and I have now met them both in a less than 3 month period.

A very fun and fruitful day.

11:00:57 am Permalink Maria Signing Reports - Wrestling Universe

Categories: Columns, Report

I had originally planned on meeting Maria yesterday at LOTR but when she got delayed I couldn’t swing the extra waiting time. I decided to make the 45 minute drive to Queens and hit up the Wrestling Universe signing to virgilize her once and for all.

My photo with Maria

I arrived at the signing around 1:20, forty minutes before the scheduled start and saw 15 fans waiting on line outside. I went into the store to hang out with Ira who was working the signing and shoot the shit with him until she arrived. Maria arrived promptly at 2:00 and I met her right away and got out quickly.

Since I met her before the line was let in the store, I actually decided to say a few words to Maria and she was friendly as always. She had good things to say about Marc and George’s debut show in PA and said the crowd was surprisingly strong for a first time event. We even discussed the legendary status of Ira Knobler and she said he had “a face you could never forget". How cool is that?!

Ira snapped two very good photos for me, much better than 95% of the people hired to take photos at conventions.

One of our users mrira worked the Maria signing and sent us a report.

mrira with Maria

I arrived at about 1:30 & Jack told me I would be doing photographs & I was cool with that. Maria arrived about 1:50 & remembered me from our previous 2 meetings & then she looked through the store & the signing began just about on time. I chit chatted with Maria through out the day on various topics. Most of the questions through out the day were either about her firing or Celebrity Apprentice. The line was constant throughout the signing & I believe the last person was done at about 3:45 at which time I got my stuff done, the same program as Dana & a print out of the photo I got with her at the Coldstone Creamery signing which she absolutely loved, then I hugged her & went on my way. This was definently a great day & had alot of fun with her.

nbungerko with Virgil & Tajiri

My day started out at 6am when I picked up Lazy E. We got to the event at 845am. Upon entering we were greeted by a bunch of people from the board. It’s really nice to meet and talk to all of you. It’s my 2nd convention and I don’t know all of you guys yet, well I’m getting there. Anyways we headed into the vendors area, picked up Bob Orton first since he was the first that we saw. Got him in the Encyc and a photo. Next came my biggest want on the day- Bobby Heenan. We gathered in a small line for him. I’m really glad I got him out of my way before my superticket number was called up. Got him in the encyc and a photo. Next was Rob Terry, I only needed a signature from him of a photo of us from K and S. By that time it was my turn in the 1st superticket line. All of the guests were super friendly and seemed happy to be there. Can’t say enough on how the ST lines were ran. Compared to K and S, it was very smooth and organized. I hope all conventions can take a page or 2 from the way these ST lines were ran. Upon returning to vendors area, I got in line for my Dixie Carter combo. I bought a 16 x20 poster earlier for her to sign. I figured why not. She was super sweet. From there on I hit up all the vendors I could afford. My biggest regret is not getting a photo with Mr. Fuji. I think that him and Heenan came to one of these for the last time. I could be wrong. After my 2nd superticket was over i got my last 2 vendors I needed- Tiger Ali Singh and Tiger Jeet Singh.. After that it was a long wait for Maria, since she was going to be late. While waiting for Maria in the lobby, i saw Kevin Sullivan walking around, so i politely asked him for a photo. He asked me what kind of photo I wanted- A photo of him naked in cowboy boots. LOL. Maria showed up at 4pm and rushed through everybody since she had to be somewhere else in a few hrs. Got her in my Summerslam 09 program. Overall a very fruitful day. Can’t wait to do it again.

One of our users class316 attended LOTR X and sent us a report.

After a fruitful time with a few celebs, I geared up for another long and tiring day.

I arrive Friday night at the bar and say hi to everyone at the bar. I shook Dixie’s hand and then I spoke to Rico. Rico asked my name (how cool is that) and I told him how glad I was he made it. He told me he was glad as well. I told him I’d see him in line the next day.

Overall I think the convention was well organized. There was no cluster fuck anywhere, the superticket lines ran smoothly, no significant cramps in the vending room. Can’t speak for the Jeff Hardy line as I did not participate in that.

Thanks to Terence and the rest of the crew for taking care of me. And as always, thank heavens for Dave working the superticket line, and thanks to Sig and Rob for helping with some of my vendor photo ops.

Practically the whole day I was without food till I went to a buffet at about 6:45 pm. The only thing I had eaten all day was a banana that I mooched from Nicole.

There was yet another addition to the people who asked to see the infamous Virgil photo. One woman who was GA and waiting to meet Rhino began talking to me, and the subject of Virgil was brought up. I told he how Virgil flashed me and I had a photo. Her jaw dropped and she wanted to know the full details and she asked to see the photo.

My good buddy CMShowstopper even tried to tell Virgil that I had the photo calling me a pedophile, and I told Virgil “why are you listening to him, he threatened me and put his hand on me".

And lots of promoters and fans commented on the “are you recording this” video and told me how awesome and funny it was.

Superticket

Block 1

Purple suited Ivory: Virgilth time meeting her. She remembered me like she always does, telling me “hi, how’ve you been, it’s been a while". She was friendly, sweet, and looking good, as always. When Dave took my photo op for some reason the flash didn’t go off like it should have (not Dave’s fault). When I said the photo came out too bright and I needed another she commented “he’s pretty particular". Got her on the WWE_E.

Rico: First time meeting him. He remembered me from Friday night. He was ultra awesome and friendly, and probably my top want on the superticket. He let me wear his jacket for the photo op, how cool is that? Got him to complete the Rico/Haas AD figure. He even asked me which color to use (he had 3 sharpies aligned like Wolverine’s claws)

non-clown suited Tiger Jackson: First time meeting him. Awesome rare name and good guest. But perhaps somebody from LOTR can answer: who the hell was that woman with him? His wife? Got him on the Dink entry of the WWE_E.

Kurrgan: First time meeting him. WOW that guy is huge! But ultra friendly. Got him on my Oddities mag cover already signed by Luna and Giant Silva. Won’t ever get Golga, still need ICP on it.

Mantaur: First time meeting him. He looks different than he used to. Friendly guy and got him on the WWE_E.

Sean Mooney: First time meeting him. Another great name and ultra friendly. Got him on the inside cover of the WWE_E and a trading card. Would have never recognized him to save my life.

Mike McGuirk: First time meeting her. Ultra friendly and looking so doable. Got her on the WWE_E.

Mean Street Posse: First time meeting all three. I remember when I used to request MSP on the boards only to be shunned and laughed at by both fans and promoters. Some would say they wouldn’t even pay $10 for a group photo op. But sure enough, with everybody being used, overused, dead, or Savage, MSP are booked for a superticket!! All very friendly and glad to be there. Got them on the WWE_E.

Block 2

TNA shirted Earl and black shirted Dave: Second time meeting each. Both so nice and friendly, making sure everyone got good autos and photo ops. Got them on their WWE_E entries.

Rhino: Virgilth time meeting him. His level of fan friendliness has gone down over the years. Don’t know why. I sold my auto since I have him Virgilized.

A-Train: First time meeting him. Another great rare guest. He was nice to everyone. Got him to complete the X-Factor entry of the WWE_E.

Monty Brown: Second time meeting him. Ultra friendly to fans as always. Got him on the WWE_E.

PN News: First time meeting him. Nice guy and got him on the WCW book.

Brother Love suited Bruce Pritchard: Third time meeting him. Nice guy and got him on the WWE_E.

Gerald Brisco: Third time meeting him. Seemed happy to be there. Got him on the WWE_E. Surprised he has no single entry in that book.

TNA shirted Jeff Jarrett: Virgilth time meeting him. Since I had him Virgilized I sold my auto. But he was his usual ultra mega go out of his way friendly self.

Vendors

Business suited Dominic Denucci: Second time meeting him. Seemed like a quiet guy but looked healthy for his age. Got him on the WWE_E.

Jimmy Rave: First time meeting him. Cool guy and got him on my TNA program.

Jose Luis Rivera: First time meeting him. He seemed happy to be there. Got him on the WWE_E.

Petey Williams: First time meeting him. One guy that should never have been fired from TNA. He was so entertaining don’t know what happened. Nice guy and got him on my TNA program.

Mr Fuji: Third time meeting him. Quiet guy and got him on his CS figure.

Alissa Flash: First time meeting her. Glad DantheMark got this under used female. She was very nice and kind to everybody that met her. Got a nice photo op.

Amazing Red: First time meeting him. Wow that guy is small. But cool guy and got a photo op

CW Anderson: First time meeting him. Very cool guy to all fans. Got a photo op.

Tajiri: My top want from this show! He was nice to everybody and a top notch guest. I got him on the WWE_E and an RA 10.5 figure.

Bobby Heenan: wow he wasn’t looking good. But I got him to complete the CS2p Heenan/Abe and once again I can consider him Virgilized.

Evan Karagias: First time meeting him. Don’t know why it took him so long to surface, but I got him on my 3 Count WCW promo and a photo op. Cool friendly guy.

Fyre: First time meeting her. She was nice and got a photo op.

Sikh headed business suited Tiger Ali and Tiger Jeet Singh: I caved in and got a combo with them. I got Jeet on his WWE_E entry and Ali on the lo down entry where he is pictured. When asked to stand they seemed reluctant but they stood (they had just sat down a minute earlier). Since I was paying good money for this photo op and it was so rare that I’ll probably never get another chance at it, I made sure to have Rob on hand.

Luckily I consider Maria Virgilized so I did not need to stick around for her. So after saying goodbyes it was time for the sun to set.

To my shock Virgil was actually taking photo ops for FREE in the lobby. I went up to him, I shook his hand and told him goodbye he winked at me, then I left soon after.

One of our users mrira attended Legends Of The Ring X and sent us a report.

mrira with Beulah, Tommy Dreamer & Albert

mrira with Bobby Heenan & Brother Love

mrira with Dink & Dixie Carter

My day started at 8:20 AM when I left to go down to LOTR, I arrived at about 9:30 & went onto the ST line for my photo’s.
Ivory: total sweetheart & talked to everyone.
Rico: One of my top wants of the day & didn’t dissapoint, asked your name & remembered it in the autograph line too.
Kurrgan: Sort of quiet, but was nice enough.
Tiger Jackson: Really nice guy
Mantaur: Nice guy.
Sean Mooney: Again one of my top wants & was very cool & talkative & got a kick out of my WM 7 Program.
Mike McGuirk: Sweetheart & looks really great for her age.
MSP: Cool guys & seemed Happy to be there.
As far a vendors, Dixie Carter was super sweet & loved to interact with fans & loved the Hogan/Cart Plaque I had her sign. Bobby Heenan was expectably quiet, but seemed super happy to be there & still seemed to have that same wit that made him the best manager of all time. Mr Fuji seemed like he was falling asleep when I went up to him. Tommy Dreamer & Beaulah’s line was pretty long, Beaulah loved the ONS 06 chair & when Dreamer heard were I was from & Brian said Matt Strikers town he said “Oh, did he ever touch you,” lol. The longest line of the day went to London & Kendrick who I believe I waited probably 30 minutes for, but were worth the wait as both were really cool. I was a bit sad that The Beautiful People could not do joint Photo Ops, but I guess with Dixie there they didn’t wanna risk anything. I ended LOTR with the 2nd half of ST’s.
The Hebner’s: Really nice guys, sort of wish they appeared in Ref shirts, but still cool.
Rhino: He was a bit, quiet, but I thought he was cool.
PN News: He was cool.
Monty Brown: I thought he be a prick, but was really cool.
Bruce Prichard: I had talked to him at K&S & was as nice as then
Jerry Brisco: I had talked to him at K&S & was as nice as then
Jeff Jarrett: Another Top want & was nice.

After leaving LOTR & made the trek back to Queens for the ICW show, I got there at 5:30 & alot of the LOTR wrestler’s began arriving about an hour later, everyone was really cool, shook my hand and those I ment at LOTR remembered me. Dreamer did a signing at intermission & had just as long a line as he did at LOTR. During the second half I caught site of Matt Striker & we had a brief chat. The event was really cool, the highlights being the Motor City Machineguns Vs The SAT, Dreamer Vs Homicide & Amazing Red Vs. Super Crazy Vs Tajiri. I arrived back home at about 11:50 PM so I had a long day.

One of our users djknightrida attended Legends Of The Ring X and sent us a report

djknightrida with Mr. Fuji & Bobby Heenan

djknightrida with Brian Kendrick, Paul London, Sonjay Dutt & So Cal Val

djknightrida with Alissa Flash & Kazarian

For me this was a very pricey LOTR. I feel like I spent more on this one then the other two I attended combined. In the end I got to meet some talent that I was really looking forward to meeting. Let me first address the issue that many people seem to have. Legends crammed all the vendors into one room this time around. Whether it was to cut costs or make sure that all guests were together, it didn’t work well. Jeff Hardy still warranted his own room for good reason. However the main room was far too crammed. There were many points were you couldn’t move 2 steps if you wanted just because of the lack of space. I’d recommend rethinking the one room layout in the fall. I did however really liked the way you the Superticket room was set up. I felt this was much better than the set up I’ve seen the last two times around.
The other pain that was out of anyone’s hands was the Maria situation. I know a few people had to leave that preordered items. I would hope they would at least be partially refunded because of the large delay in her arrival.

As for vendors:
Mr. Fuji- first time meet. He was nice but very quiet. Still well worth the cost to me. Signed my HOF program.
Bobby Heenan- Very glad his health held up this time so he could attend. I felt so bad for him but you could tell he was happy to be there and meet his fans. Got an auto in the HOF program.
Petey Williams- HUGE want of mine. Petey is one of the TNA guys that I really enjoyed watching and wish he was still around. Talked some about Team Canada. Picked up Petey on 2 posters and the first TNA Program.
Amazing Red- Big disappointment. Red spent more of his time talking to his friends than interacting with people paying to meet him. Thought he would be nicer but I got my autos on a couple posters and picture.
London and Kendrick- They were well lit that’s for sure. They were entertaining but it held up their line quite a bit which can get aggravating. Good first time meets on both.
Traci Brooks- Nice as always. Once again I must reminder her of someone cause she brought it up to me again. Commented how my poster was “vintage” lol. Picked up a picture with her knockers flying out of her shirt.

On a side note: I’m wondering what other people thought on this subject. Who’s boobs were sticking out more, Traci or Velvets?

Rob Terry- nice enough. Didn’t really say much. Looked like he didn’t have a ton of traffic and he was bored.
Alissa Flash- seemed like she didn’t want to be there. Paid to get here as Alissa in the new program and she flipped to Raisha and signed it as well. That was nice of her atleast.
So Cal- Always very nice. No difference here. She looked very good.
Sonjay- Nice enough for a first time meet. Picked up on a poster and TNA Program
Chris Harris- same as Big Rob.
Tajiri- His line moved super fast IMO. The eye movements were anoying when I was trying to take a picture for someone else but it came out great in my photo. Wished I coulda talked more with him.
Ivory- Very nice. Well worth the money and the perfect example of how I think guests should be.
Monte Brown- similar to Ivory. Wrote some great inscriptions on my posters. Very happy that he may be coming back soon.
Jarrett- same experience I’ve had the 2 other times I’ve met him. He’s friendly but never goes over the top.

Let me first start by clearing up the wheel chair. Short story, about 12 years ago I had a horrible accident where I injured my back. Over time the several discs in my back began to deteriorate and punched a nerve. L4, L5, L6 and S1….S1 being the nerve, I guess. The pain is tremendous, worse than any bone I have ever had broken. Usually after a few weeks of pain killers, rest, massage and heat therapy, the pain will subside a bit and there are no issues. Unfortunately, it is reoccurring and comes about around twice a year….spring and fall. Not sure why those times, but it is what it is. Less than a week ago, it came. I would have skipped out on LOTR this year, even though I am glad I did not, but since I had preordered several things, I did not want to bail. One of the reasons, I am not a big preordering kind of guy, but certainly loved the presale deals, vendors and LOTR offered, so again…it is what it is. So, the wheel chair was MORE than essential for me to be at LOTR. I cant thank my good friend and marking out partner DJKnightRida enough for taking care of me and rolling me around all day long. Dont know too many people who would put up with that BS.

Now that my short story has gone long, onto the report. Got to LOTR a little later than I wanted too b/c my back was troubling me in the morning. But got there and was able to secure a ga ticket asap without issue. Once inside, we went into the main room and scoped it out. Most of the guests we were in need of were not going to be there till later. So we figured we would get the few that were there. Hit Bobby The Brain up first. Bobby has been one of my all time top wants. Growing up as a kid, I loved and hated Bobby. He helped make superstars superstars and continued to do so for many years. His witty banter is untouched and his ability to manipulate words still marvel me to this day. We got into the line for Heenan and had a very small wait. Once it was my turn, I thanked him for coming out and making many dreams come true today. Bobby was in great spirits. Talk about the power of being positive. Bobby epitomizes it and his wife too. She thanked me for coming out and said Bobby was really looking forward to meeting everyone. I had explained how I had tried to meet him at several shows of recent times and unfortunately he was unable to make it and that this is such a gift for his fans. I was pleasantly surprised that Bobby spoke so well with his reconstruction to his jaw and I had no issues hearing nor understanding what he said. I got just an autograph, as I did not want to try and get a photo with my injury, the tight quarters and a small fear of falling over and into Bobby. I’ll probably come to miss this photo later on, but I think it was the right decision.

Once done with Bobby, my layover began. DJKnightRida was nice enough to get the ST guests I needed in Ivory from the first block and iwantthatsig got me Kurrgan in my WWE E. Around 11:30 the waiting was over, as more and more guests arrived. Saw several come into the front door, like Jeff Hardy. In typical Jeff fashion, always trying to make his fans happy, he signed and took photos on the way in. But next up for me turned out to be my longest wait of the day, Paul London and Brian Kendrick. I have never had the pleasure to meet these two guys, but have admired their work for SO MANY years. London and Kendrick were so friendly with their fans, that the line was taking even longer. So I hopped out of the chair for a quick second and headed over to Tommy Dreamer, who had no line at all. A big thank you to Brian Keenan, who did such a fantastic job with all his guests. Nice guy to speak with. Tommy signed 2 programs for me and I told him I was glad to see him working Chikara. Tommy seemed disinterested and didnt say much. I have been told that that is just how Tommy is. Oh well. Got back in the chair just in time for London and Kendrick. London, dressed in full Intreprid Traveler gear, minus the ray gun, was awesome an did not dissappoint. I noticed he had tshirts for sale, but sadly no Hybrid Dolphins shirts. He laughed. I told him how I wanted his new shoot interview from Highspots, but HS would not have them for sale till next week. Paul reached into his bag and whipped out a copy for me. He and Brian signed it for me. Very cool. I watched the first disc so far and laughed my ass off. Fan fucking tastic! Must watch. I got my picture with both London and Kendrick, but it turned out a tad blurry. Oh well. Thats what I get for not inspecting it before I leave.

I moved down to Jimmy Wang Yang, who I also needed a few autos in my programs. But as soon as I got there, Jimmy went to the other side of the table and started signing. Wrestlingmarx was very cool to help out and went and had Jimmy sign my programs, without requiring me to turn around or get back into line. Wrestling marx did a fine job and helped me out.

Moved onto one of the heavier TNA sections with Angelina Love, Alissa Flash, So Cal Val, Sonjay, Chris Harris and The Beautiful People. First and foremost……Velvet was WOW! I mean wow! Isnt she always? But wow! So Cal was dressed to impress and was looking amazing as well. And one of my personal favorites, Alissa Flash was looking gorgeous as well. My back was acting up at the moment, so I kind of kept everything short here….regrettably. Chris Harris was hardly recognizable. Alissa was quiet. Angelina was ok. Stopped at the IVP booth, before I went to try and relax in the lobby for a bit and got Ken Doane. Kenny was damn cool. He signed my WWE E and we chatted about Seducing Cindy. He said he had NO interest in winning it. He was 4th to last to be eliminated. He did say he was starting to think he might have a chance to be in the finals and was plotting out this heel turn he was going to make, if he did. He was gonna cut a heel promo on the show and turn Cindy Margolis down, saying this and that and getting some major pub. Sucks for Cindy, but was still a cool story.

Around this time, I was informed that Chris Hero was coming to LOTR as a surprise guest. Oh wow! I was psyched. All kinds of awesome here. Me love Chris Hero. Some of you may have no idea who he is, but for me personally he was a highlight for me and one of the guests I spent the most on. I got a Hero autograph, bummed he had no 8X10s, Hero tshirt and a photo op that he gave me for free. Actually, Chris was doing photos for free for anyone who wanted one. I have met Chris several times before, but was unable to get a photo with him due to him being a heel. The closest I got was taking promo shots of him backstage for Chikara once. It was cool. But I wanted a shot with him. Someone please sign Chris Hero!

As I was in the lobby trying to rest a bit, DJKnightRida and my other buddy with me, JF was able to get my WCW US Title signed by Tajiri. I heard his line was a bit long and was glad I didnt have to sit through that. The second Superticket block of guests started and DJKnightRida and iwantthatsig helped me out with Jarrett, Monte, Rhyno and The Hebners. After they were done with that, I was rolled over to Jeff Hardy’s room. Every guest was crammed into the main room, with Jeff having his own space. I heard there was an issue with Jeff b/c TNA wanted everyone to buy this $50 combo which got you a 16X20 photo of Jeff that was photoshopped and not high quality, a Shannon Moore signed 8X10 and Jeff’s signature on the poster. No photo, no other items. They were $20 extra. People were unhappy and just wanted a photo or their own item signed. Luckily, a good friend of mine who works for LOTR was there and helped me out and I was able to pay just the $20 to get my WWE autographed magazine, the WM cover where Jeff is smashing a car. There was only 1 person ahead of me and no one behind me. Not sure if whatever line he had had died out or whether it was people just not paying the $50. I got a chance to talk to Shannon and he said the book of DILLIGAF is real and its notes, drawings and ideas from his mind. He is going to have it printed and it will be for sale soon. At least I know what it is now. Jeff said he thought that was cool and wanted to do the same. When I got up to Jeff, he asked me why I was in the chair. I was surprised and told him a shorter version than what you have read and he seemed genuinely concerned. I asked him how did he know I wasnt usually in a chair and he told me he remembered me from the NJ signing a few months ago and that I was the guy that made that kick ass poster for him. I was a bit stunned that he remembered. He said he hung and framed the poster in his living room and is amazed by it, thanking me again. Very cool!

After Jeff, I found out that Maria was running big time late and might not be coming at all. Oh no! Found out later she would not arrive till 4pm, an hour and a half later, some flight problems. So the waiting game began. My friend McBoober helped me out and got my a new photo with London, cuz my last one was blurry. No Intrepid Traveler but oh well. Unfortunately, I did not see Kendrick to get a makeup one with him. No biggie.

Finally, Maria arrived and began to sign. The line was LONG. It went out the door and around the side of building. Not sure on the total number, but there were a good number of people there. But being so organized, Brian was able to move everyone through. The end of line was finished in 45 minutes and never did I feel rushed with Maria. She was very nice, signed all my stuff, asked about the chair and my pain, took the photo and off we went. I was lucky to have so many friends with me to help me get my stuff signed and get me out of line, so I didnt cause a major hold up. Keenan sure knows how to run a signing. One of my best experiences by a promoter.

All in all, it was a long day, but worth it. This LOTR was loaded in amazing vendor guests! Here is my list of pros and cons and then my photos.

Pros:

1. DJKnightRida—-thanks for taking care of me……Gaylord. LOL! (inside joke)

2. Brian Kennan—A+ promoter, knows how to be organized and professional.

3. Paul London and Brian Kendrick—-being so much damn awesome!

4. Jeff Hardy—-always looking out for his fans and just being such a cool down to earth guy, when he happens to be such a big superstar.

5. Velvet Sky—one word… cleavage

6. Bobby Heenan making it to LOTR
Cons:

1. Cramming everyone into the main room for LOTR. I know its expensive to get more rooms, but even if they had just one more, it would have helped with the lines. The way it was setup, it was tough to know who’s line was what and blocked many vendors who didnt attract many guests. I know poor Ivan Koloff got blocked so bad that a guy who had many photos for Ivan couldnt find him.

2. Wished guests like Hero, Jerry Lynn and Kevin Sullivan were announced. Not sure what happened, but it would have been nice. I could have brought a Hero promo to get signed.

3. Forcing people to buy the $50 Jeff Hardy poster to be signed in order to get your own stuff signed for $20 more.

So, to go into more details, he was actually a nice guy. BUT he didn’t sign for anyone.

Basically he is in the CM Punk realm for autographs.

To illustrate my point, one guy in a wheelchair actually had a low quality printed photo op of him and Armstrong, and Armstrong did not sign that!

And by meeting him, I now have photo ops with all 3 Apollo 11 crew members.

And of the first 4 people to ever walk on the moon, I have photo ops with all 3 living ones. How cool is that?

My long yet enjoyable day started with meeting Old School Mike in Manhattan. We made extremely solid time and we made it to LOTR by 8:30ish, where we were greeted by Terence and James who quickly showed us to the MarkedOut.com table in the vendor area. It was very cool to see all the great users from this site and I enjoyed talking to each and every one of you.

My photos with Bobby Heenan & Jeff Jarrett

My photos with Monty Brown & Sean Mooney

My photos with Albert & Gerald Brisco

The superticket line may have been the most organized I have encountered. The autograph and photo op session moved extremely well and all of my photos came out great thanks to Lanza & Mike’s great picture taking skills.

My only knock about the show was the extremely crowded main room. I personally missed the more spaced out set up of the past events, but this was a great time none the less and a great job done by the staff.

I won’t go in to each talent individually but I will give certain ones of interest a special comment.

Bobby Heenan, my top wrestling want FINALLY made it to a show I was at. Bobby was expectantly quiet but had a twinkle in his eye showing that he certainly still has some life in him. I got 4 autographs and a photo op.

Tajiri was quite weird with his constant eye moving during the photos, although I wouldn’t really bash him for it.

Chris Hero showed up at the show and took photos with whoever asked free of charge, cool guy.

Monty Brown was really cool and a big want.

Sean Mooney very cool and another top name on this show for me.

All in all it was a great time and I’d like to commend Terence and James on another extremely enjoyable and organized show.

I had a pre LOTR adventure.

I met Brooke Shields and got a combo! She was very nice and accommodating

Then I met Doris Roberts from Everybody Loves Raymond. Again very nice.

Finally I went for Kelsey Grammer for a second time. Since I’m happy with my photo op, I only went for autographs this time around.

I now consider Kelsey Grammer Virgilized.

WHO names I got a photo op with:

Max McLean
Karen Eleanor
Anna Chlumsky
Julie Halston
AJ Shively
Fred Applegate
Veanne Cox

One of our users jeffhunt met some musicians and sent us a report.

jeffhunt with Lee Ann Womack & The Band Perry

jeffhunt with Joe Nichols & Rodney Atkins

The radio station that I’m leaving for my new job in State College hosted a pretty awesome night of music at the FM Kirby Center here in Wilkes-Barre this past Thursday night. For those of you who aren’t country music fans, these are pretty much going to be WHO names for you. You may know Lee Ann Womack’s MASSIVE hit, “I Hope You Dance", though.

The line-up was:

SIDE STAGE (in the lobby): Josh Thompson, The Band Perry

MAIN STAGE (in the theater): James Otto, Lee Ann Womack, Joe Nichols, Rodney Atkins

I got photo ops with everyone except Josh Thompson and James Otto, and both of those are pretty much my fault, as I could have easily gotten them both in the lobby before the show. Josh actually co-hosted the station’s afternoon show all day, and I was pretty much hanging out with him the entire time - very cool guy, but it didn’t seem like the right time to bother him with that while I was on the job. I doubt that he would have minded, but it would have felt awkward.

It was the same with James Otto - he came out to the lobby for an interview at one point, but it was the same scenario, I didn’t want to seem like an overtly obsessed fan while I was on the clock.

Anyway, after the show, when the crowd had dwindled out after the meet and greet, I got autographs for one of the theater’s workers who helped us out all night (I’m not much of an autograph guy), and then went to work on the photo ops (only staff were allowed photo ops.) Josh Thompson and James Otto were both gone by this point, which is a bummer - although, I’m sure that Josh will be around the radio scene a bit since he’s still a new artist, and I already have two photo ops and an autograph from James Otto, so he’s pretty much Virgilized.

Anyway, here’s the photo ops:

Lee Ann Womack - She wasn’t the friendliest person that I’ve ever met, to say the least. She apparently had to leave early, and only did the meet and greet session for 10-15 minutes before she abruptly got up to leave. I saw her get in the elevator to head down to the dressing rooms, so I followed her down to try to get a pic before she left. At first she wasn’t going to stop, but after her and her label rep saw that I was staff, her mood suddenly changed (slightly) for the better, and was happy to stop for a photo. It didn’t turn out as good as it could have since she was rushed, and I also look huge in it for some reason. I’m probably the only person that got a photo with her all day, though - so all things considered, it’s a success.

The Band Perry - A new act, so they were VERY fan-friendly over the course of the entire show. They even signed and took photos before and after their set on the side-stage (when they weren’t required to), in addition to the actual meet and greet. Major props to them for being the coolest artists of the night. They even made it a point to thank me for helping out - class acts all the way.

Joe Nichols - He’s had numerous major hits: “Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off", “Brokenheartsville", and “Gimmie That Girl” - just to name a few. A VERY funny and cool guy.

Rodney Atkins - His first four singles all went to #1 on the country charts. Another funny and cool guy who told some hilarious stories over the course of the evening. This was my second time meeting him. And yes, he’s much taller than I am.

It is rare that I go for a celeb for a second time. But the first time I met Lynda Carter (Dec 2009) I only got an auto and was not able to get a photo op. Therefore, by no stretch of any imagination could I declare her Virgilized.

Therefore I had to go try for her again. We were only three people, me and a set of twins.

She was actually friendly, posed for photo ops and signed one per person.

I can now happily consider her Virgilized.

Took the 20 min drive to White Plains for some fresh meets..

lanza218 with The Godfather & Vampiro

lanza218 with AJ Styles & Mark Jindrak

lanza218 with Paul Burchill

As soon as I got there I saw K&S in the parking lot, and went in with them the back way- Picked up my ST After some regs- Rob the Rave and gf, Mooch, Alter Boy Sig, Lucas, Wewantflair, etc

Picked up the ST and saw the Godfather had the longest line- in gimmick and standing for photo- got him to sign my new RTC 8x10- which IMO is better than Rob’s

Got shelly, who also stood, signed my TNA Card, and for some people eveen siged as AKA Ariiel- which was great for some

butterbean- got another 8x10 signed since I had nada for him- he stood

Went over and knocked Jidrak out of the way- he commented how he never saw the fig I had (Thanks to Sig) and got a combo

Next was the next block- Started with pope- had his glasses on- sans gimmick since his arm was in a sling- signed my old TNA Program ( I have no intention of starting a new one)- I asked him to sign in silver, and we ribbed back and forth on the proper way to sign- he said I made his day and made him laugh- HOW COOL IS THAT?!?!?!?!?!??!?

Burchil was next- commented how he never saw the Fig I had- RA37- and signed it The Ripper as well as his name- not in gimmick- both didnt stand b/c of the positioning of the table- no fault of their own

AJ- in Full Suit- signed by TNA Card- I commennted on his ANJ inscribed on his cuffs, and he laughed- didnt ask him to stand

Vamp showed up at 2:30- began signing, sans face paint- but was fn awesome- and for me, a Top 5 want- happily stood and retook photos with anyone who wanted- got him to sign an 8x10 and thhe WCW TNT Fig- which he said he neve saw and said was extremely acurate

Got a Red Combo- he stood, Lynn auto, and Alexa Thatcher Combo- she stood as well

Gen Me arrived by 4- had them sign my old TNA Program, they stood

All and all an easy and cheap day- only no shows were leticia, van hammer, and gillberg- I liked the wat the Guests were set up- each at their own table- not all in a row- and loved the ST Price

A few Cons-I HATE when promoters who run tables, let their buddies cut in line, esp after I am waiting there for 25 min- and the reason I am told is- “*Shoulder Shrug*- Eh I have to"- that’s bullshit

The waiting time in b/w blocks was not good- very easily could have set it up with 2 blocks- 5 guys in each block

Also was under the assumption cetain pics would be in ring- but w/e

Very good show, overall, for a first time running- impressive and would def go to another one

One of our users Hollywood John Sig attended the White Plains show and sent us a report

Hollywood John Sig with The Pope & Vampiro

Hollywood John Sig with Butterbean & Matt Borne

Hollywood John Sig with Matt Classic

Rob, Courtney and I headed out of Rome around 7am for the 4 hour trek to White Plains. First time I’ve set a clock for non-work stuff in a while…

got there a little after 11 to find the doors just starting to open, so we were right on, time wise.

Met up with the regulars, Jack & Evan, Max, Lucas, Lanza, wewantflair… mingled, took some laps around the vendor area… not much going on besides the first block

Godfather had a solid line, same with Shelly… Butterbean’s line seemed to be hit and miss, and luckily for me he was the only one out of that block that I needed. Thanks to Lucas I got my photo with him and told him I enjoyed Celebrity Championship Wrestling, to which he laughed and replied “thanks". HOW FREAKING COOL IS THAT?!? I kid, but yeah, nice guy.

this is where it came in handy to mingle and bullshit with board members, because the gap between blocks was just a bit much…

my new buddy Colt Cabana went out to his car and got his Matt Classic mask (as per my request on Facebook, again HOW COOL IS THAT?), so I got a photo op with the WSXtra stand-out. Colt is always awesome, so I was happy to support him, even though I’m always hesitant about paying for indy guys. His work is always awesome, and he’s a funny dude, so why not?

Next up Joker/Doink suited Virgil UnderArmor suited Matt Bourne suited Matt Bourne arrives, so I get a photo op with him, seeing as how he was one of my biggest regrets missing his Sigmania appearance. Cool dude…

Next up the 2nd block started, which I didn’t really need anybody. I ended up getting a photo op with The Pope, thanks to “Techno Joe” Lanza. Pope remembered me from the early days of his message board, as well as working Jason’s show and various other contacts. We caught up quick (without holding up the line for 20 minutes, ;) ) and that was that for block 2 for me… more waiting around.

Last up for me was Vampiro, who I noticed walking in. Nobody near me thought it was actually him, but sure enough when he set up at the table in front of us, it was him. Really nice guy… I always heard he was really flakey, so maybe we got him on a good day, but he was excellent with the fans, commenting on merch, thanking us for being there, etc. Great rare meet…

after this we start to head out, but first we have to jump Mooch-Chops car, whose lights were left on… Rob helps a brother out and before we head out, we’re approached by K, of Ken & Steve fame about helping him out and giving Ron Simmons a ride to the airport… Rob and I are nice guys, so we oblige. Man, Ron is a riot, lol. what a fun dude. He told us about this story of a guy who was going to jump off a building and kill himself, but the area he lived in was so jaded and shitty that his co-workers yelled at him from the street to “hurry up and do it, we only got 10 minutes left on break", which prompted the man to rethink his decision, and eventually walk down in shame. This story went on for the 15 minute ride there, which had him, and us, dying laughing.

after this we head back to the WP train station, catch a line in to Manhattan and do the sight seeing crap for Rob’s gf, before heading over to ROH. I left my thoughts on that show in the roll call thread in PW discussion, so I won’t go into any detail here… good show, long day.

Good seeing everybody, and I’ll see you all again this weekend.

Kris-UK with Leslie Nielsen

A busy weekend over here in good old Blighty.

First up was Autographica - this is a “upper class” convention that features older celebs and military heroes from both sides of conflicts, which means the show has stirred some controversy in the media recently.

I wasn’t there for the latter however - I was there for one old celeb - none other that Leslie Nielsen!

As mentioned in earlier postings, I debated where to have him sign his name in the WWE Ency. I went for the Summerslam page in green SRX pen on the black paper near the Summerslam logo.

Leslie had no idea what the Ency was, and nor did his helper. I saw no other wrestling fans (or therefore merch) around during the day so am pretty sure that it is fairly unique on these shores!

After that there was a photo shoot - the kind of which we all hate because they insist on using their camera and won’t given you the digital image.

However, Leslie was on top form and goofed around during the shoot, making the official photographer take four pictures…and they ended up printing three for me…at no extra cost!

Kris-UK with Jemma Palmer

Following this I raced 100 miles down the motorway to get to the wrestling debut of Jemma Palmer.

Who she? I hear you ask…well for those of you not in the know, she was on the UK version of Gladiators and has been signed up by FCW, following in the footsteps of Oblivion (Brutus Magnus/TNA) and Goliath (Mason Ryan/FCW/Batista lookalike).

Will she make it? Who knows! Will she actually get her work permit? That’s holding things up at the moment, and hopefully she will, so we have yet another UK representative in the big time!

I went to an indy show with Eric Young on the card. The venue was a tiny gymnastics studio. There was barely enough room for the ring, so there were no merchandise tables or anything. Eric came out at intermission and asked if anyone needed anything autographed. Four or five people got event posters signed before I got to him. He signed everything I had and asked if I had anything else. Awesome guy. TNA Referee Andrew Thomas was scheduled to be there also, but he lost his house and cars in the Nashville flood.

BIG Cha Ching BLUE with Shane Douglas & Steve Corino

Hey guys I went to the Shane Douglas signing today at Georges Collectibles. Today was my very time attending a signing at George’s store. I been wanting to stop for the longest and today I made it happen. I got there around 10:30 am or so no lines, no fans in the store but myself and staff member Doug. Myself and Doug talked for a bit. I told him how I really liked how the store is set up and it was a nice set etc. I buy my ticket then I step out to get some lunch at the Chinese spot next store killing time. I come back around 11:00 am and just hang out at the store waiting for Shane Douglas to show up.

At around 11:15 am Erick and Russ (WrestlingMarx) come rolling in with Shane Douglas. Shane Douglas walks around the store for a bit looking to buy some figures for his son. I went up to Shane and had conversation around that time and asked him if he remembered my uncle Tony who worked out with Shane few years ago at a gym out in Pittsburgh and Shane says of course I know your uncle Tony. Shane then talks to Eric for a while about things don’t know exactly and continued to looked at figures.

All of sudden Marc shows up. I want to say around 11:30am or so. I bullshitted with Marc for a bit. Now at this point fans start to show up. Approx 20 fans show up. Ok now it’s12 pm and the signing begins and Marc pretty much is in charge. Of course I’m first one to start off the signing. I hand Shane my 8 x 10 he signed it no problem. I step to the side and wait for everyone is done so I can get my photo op with Shane. The line autograph line ran quickly and smoothly. I got my photo later on into the signing.

Shane was very nice and open about his career. There was this one guy there that Shane talked to for about half hour about his career. Shane looked very happy to be at this signing and in good spirits to be there. I knew I would make my day out something if I went to this signing.

Overall this was a great signing for me. I just want to Thank George even though he wasn’t there since he was coming back from Vegas a BIG THANK YOU for giving us fans another great signing. I want to THANK Eric and Russ for bring Shane to the store. Marc and Doug THANK YOU too.. It was nice meeting you Doug, Eric and Russ. Marc like always it’s always good to see you too. Thank you all for making me feel welcome today at this signing..

As you all know there is a ROH show tonight in NYC. As I get on the train to head back home. Who do I run into? Steve Corino yeah thats right. I sat next to Steve and we talked. He told me he was going to do a run in tonight in the Cobana/Steen match and attack Cobana etc.
