Jesse Ventura Book Signings
 Myself with Jesse Ventura
Queens, NY
I got back a little while ago from the Jesse Ventura book signing in Queens. I took the train back to Long Island from Manhattan and then drove out to Queens, which seems impractical on the surface but I didn’t want to have to deal with mass transit getting home. As of last night I was planning on sitting this out but I’m glad I reconsidered.
I arrived at the store at around 5:30 and found about 10 people waiting, 1 of them being board member and convention regular Max. I quickly sat up front with him and we proceeded to save Ira a spot who was running late. Jesse arrived right on time and began a very lengthy but interesting speech and Q/A session. I wasn’t particularly interested in reading this book but in hearing the format of it I will now give it a glance.
The signing was well run, despite the staff getting agitated at Jesse continuing to speak even after they told him they had to start signing. When you purchased the book there was a flier that promised photo ops and one extra autograph per book purchased so this was a rare stress free book signing. The sheet said you had to stand in front of the table for the photo op but I didn’t like the sound of that so I got behind the table for my shot.
I ended up with 3 total autographs (the book, my WM2 program and a 8.5 x 11 book cover they were handing out)

The signing was definently more crowded then I thought & I think most were conspiracy people & not wrestling fans. I was very happy & appreciative that Dana & Max saved me a spot in the first row. I am alittle informed on Conspiracies since someone I worked with was into that & talked to me about it all the time. I bought 2 books, got both signed, the ency & I bought a promo from Summerslam 88.

Hey everyone just got back from NYC. Just wanted to post a few things about the “The Body” signing today at Borders on Broadway. Got there about 9:30 and waited as time got closer not many people were there. As the Signing drew closer nobody knew if extras or pics will be allowed, as i was hoping for both but nobody knew yet. Well 1pm came and Jesse was about 12 minutes late and took tons of pics for the media. There was about 30 people there if not a few more and we were told that Jesse would in fact take photos no extras, and he would personalize the book if wanted. It sucked because the borders staff were taking the photos woldnt let no one else take them. so hopefully people will have better luck at the next signings.

I wasn’t planning on going to this signing since I had no ride there. Around 3:30pm today I get a text message from my boy IVP Chris and asking me to get ready that Sean (JoeyStylesfan) will be pick me up at the train station in Secaucas NJ which is about 30 mins or so from the signing. So I arrive at the Secaucas train station there I see IVP and CM Showstoppa waiting inside the train station for me. I walk with them outside and then I run into Sean(JoeyStylesfan) and we were out and about on our way to this signing. Sean THANK YOU much my friend for the the ride to this signing. I greatly appreciate it.
So we get to Bookends and myself,IVP,Sean, and CM Showstoppa purchase our Jesse Ventura books. Then we go downstairs to get in line for the signing. It was approx 100 people in there. We waited a little bit in line then the Q & A started. As the Q & A was taking place there was this annoying old lady say smart remarks to just about everything Jesse Ventura was saying. There was a point when Jesse really came down hard on the woman which she rightfully deserved because she was being so annoying to myself and everyone that was there tonight. The Q & A went on for 2 hours.Right after the Q & A was over then we all got in line to get our books, merchandise, etc signed and to take photo ops. The line ran very smoothly. I got a photo op and 4 things signed which was pretty cool and made my night even more exciting.
Sean (Joeystylesfan), IVP Chris, CM Showstoppa it was nice hanging with all of you. I hope you all had a great time at this signing and many more to come. I greatly appreciate everything.

It’s pretty much the same as above with no other information to tell from what happened from what Big Blue already said. Since I’m new to the board I got to meet- the Mooch, Lucas and Sean (joeystylesfan) for the first time. Got to hang out with my buddy Lazy E also. I bought 2 books- made out with 5 autos. Got the poster, 2 encyclopedia entries and both books signed. Other than that was very please with how easy it was to get to Bookends since it was my first time there and how smoothly the signing went..
Another one of our users lazye attended the Jesse Ventura book signing and sent us a report.

So I’ll try and make this short a sweet (partly because I wrote it once lengthy and the pc froze and deleted it)
Once getting there I ran into the Mooch (sorry I wasn’t that talkative, was exhausted) and then proceeded to head into line for a nice three hour wait.
BTW honorable mention to my girlfriend who took the ride with me and had no interest in this what so ever
Eventually ran into nbungking and Bookends let us in around 6 (thankfully because it was a little chilly)
Like others have said, Ventura talked and took Q/A for about 2 hours which I see as totally getting more then my moneys worth. Oh and to the “lovely” lady who wouldn’t stop muddering her comments, if you go to a book signing called “American Conspiracies", expect conspiracy talk that you may not agree with.
Anyways Ventura was great. Told him how I study him and Monsoon’s commentary because in radio it’s all about timing and him and Monsoon were second to few. He went on to say how he loved doing it again when he hosted and then reiterated a statement from before saying “I’ll be back if Vince puts the decimal point in the right spot”
Ended up getting my WM 1 program signed along with my book.

I’ll keep this short since everything pretty much was covered by the other reports. I’m very glad I made the 4 hour drive to Bookends, since it was so worth it. Jesse talked for about 2 hours which was cool, I wasn’t bored during it at all. I will say though, I absolutely HATED that old lady that kept saying shit back to him and called him a liar once. She got so annoying, and you could tell Jesse was getting pissed too.
I they called my row up for autos at about 9:30, and the line moved pretty fast at that point. Got a total of 3 things signed and a picture with him for $25, not bad at all. He was very cool too, he took time to talk to everybody.

This was a great signing. I am so glad to arrive early to see Jesse discuss his book. I cant wait to read it because the topic is of an interest of mine. Jesse was enlightening and educating for me and some other people. But there was one annoying lady who disagreed with almost everything Jesse had to say. I was glad to my ency signed and get a photo op.
New York, NY - Columbus Circle
Another one of our users oldschoolwwwf attended the Jesse Ventura book signing and sent us a report.
So I came close to doing BookEnds yesterday but decided it just wasn’t that important to me and would rather spend the time with Isaac so at the last minute I bailed. Last night, I was online and discovered that Jesse had a signing tonight at Borders Columbus Circle at 7:00pm. Since this store is 10 blocks away from me (a less than 5 minute subway ride), I figured I would give it a shot. The timing was awesome because I could come home, hang out with Isaac and then just before he goes to bed, head out for the signing.
I got to Borders just before 8:00ish. Since the signing supposedly started at 7, I don’t know what time it actually started or how early people got there. There didnt seem to be much of a line from what I saw, maybe 50 people tops. I asked a line monitor if he would sign extras and was told if you bought a book, he’d sign other items for you. So I bought the book and got on line.
Jesse would, unfortunately for me, spend a few minutes with each person so the line crawled. It was so annoying to see these people who obviously lived for the few minutes of attention Jesse would give them. I thought about throwing in the towel and heading home because it was moving so slow. But I waited it out. I guess the store told him to start moving because all of a sudden, his time with each person dwindled.
I got to him probably about 8:45. He signed the book, my encyc, the fig, and 2 magazines. Even though I didnt really need one, I got another photo with him anyway just for the hell of it.
Funny things:
I did not see one single person even attempt to get an extra item signed.
I was the only one to get any extras signed from what I saw.
Some dudes tried to meet Jesse without buying a book. The store wouldn’t let them. They bitched and moaned that they had waited for hours and no one told them until now that they needed to buy a book. They claimed poverty. The store said too bad. One of them then tried to get in with another group of people and the store said no dice.
Jesse was awesome. I gave him the cs fig and he goes I hate these things- they got my height and weight wrong, how hard was it to get that info right? He then gave it back to me without signing it. I was like Jesse would you mind signing it? it wasn’t like I brought it just to show it to him. He said of course and signed it.
Considering I left the apartment about 7:35 and was back home before 9, got 4 items signed with the purchase of 1 book, and a photo op I didn’t need, I would have to say that was a successful signing.

I’m not gonna lie, this isn’t an exciting report by any means, but since I don’t really have much else going on until the conventions start up in a few weeks, I guess that it’s better than nothing.
New country group Williams Riley stopped by the Froggy studios yesterday on their radio tour. Really nice guys (as are most of the acts that stop by), they played for about 45 mins. for the staff and contest winners. GREAT harmonies - the bald dude with the glasses has actually been a pretty respected session player/writer in Nashville for a while, so he’s been around.
In a funny side note, their label rep remembered me from when he used to bring acts to the station that I used to work for. The radio world is an insanely small one.
Regardless, all in all, it was a good way to kill an hour.
Unless someone else stops by the studios in the next few weeks, it looks like I’m gonna be tapped out until the NEW show in Poughkeepsie on the 20th.

Serial Killer, Angel & Little Miss Sunshine
Myself with John Lithgow, Lucy Liu & Abigail Breslin
Lanza and I ventured into the city today for some Celeb seeking and had a rather solid day. I have totally stopped my occasional weekday hunting so this was my first time doing this in a while and with the nice weather, I was happy to do it.
Our first meet was John Lithgow, star of cinema and television, my favorite of his roles being the Trinity serial killer on Dexter. He was very nice, happy to sign autographs but said he was running late and couldn’t do a photo with. When we saw him later in the day he remembered us and thanked us for coming back and happily took photos. Very nice guy.
After a nice leisurely lunch, I once again saw Lucy Liu of Charlie’s Angels fame. The last time I saw her maybe a month ago she politely turned me down for a photo op but today she was more than happy to oblige.
My last meet of the day was Abigail Breslin, most notably from Little Miss Sunshine and Definitely Maybe, two movies I really enjoyed. Unlike many child stars, she was exceptionally down to earth, taking time out to take photos with everybody who desired one, many of which were children. It’s always nice to see stars the kids really look up to actually taking the time out to make the fans happy.

Steel City Con Report
One of our users bwo4life met Lillian Garcia and Candice Michelle and sent us a report.
bwo4life with Lillian Garcia & Candice Michelle
Went to the Steel City Con today and met Candice Michelle and Lillian Garcia.
Both were very gracious, and sweet.
Lillian had me get 3 pics with her, to make sure they came out right. Said she wanted to get my moneys worth. Very cool.
Had her sign my 2 WWE promos, and wound up giving me her CD for free (which she also signed the cover AND the cd itself.)
She even took a picture of one of my promos, since she was out of them. lol
Candice was just as nice. I got her WWE promo (with the belt) and her first figure signed.
She gave me a discount on one of her Bench Warmers card.
She also let me get 2 photos. Both standing and with the belt.
One regular one, and one “fun” one as she called it.
Other stars there, that I passed on was:
John Schneider (dukes of hazzard) (have him virgilized)
Matthew Wood (no interest)
Jake Busey (no interest)
Mark Goddard (no interest)
Louise Robey (Friday the 13th tv series) Loved the show, and was going to get a photo op, but she has not aged well at all.
Robyn Griggs (no interest)

NYC Celebrity Meets
One of our users class316 met some celebrities and sent us some pictures.
class316 with Annie Potts, John Lithgow, Jennifer Ehle, Liev Schrieber & Laura Linney,
 class316 with Jimmy Smits & Catherine Zeta-Jones
After Woodmo and Lanza had a fruitful day, I thought I’d dedicate a day of my own for some fruits! And I did better than I had hoped!!
First off I met Annie Pots, who was the secretary in the Ghostbusters movies. She could not have been sweeter. She was signing for others in blue, then when I got her to sign by Ghostbusters LD cover she was gonna use blue then I asked her to use silver. When she signed it she was like “oh silver on black, that’s smart".
Then we have John Lithgow from Third Rock From the Sun He was happy to oblige for a photo op and I also got an autograph. He thanked everybody. He also complimented my marker saying “good pen". How cool is that?
I also got Jennifer Ehle, a WHO name for but she was there so why not. I asked for a photo op and she couldn’t have been more accommodating. She simply requested to cover up her 6 month old baby. Since she was carrying a plant and a baby, I did not bother her for an autograph even though I had an item for her(see? I’m a decent guy
Up next is Liev Schreiber who played Sabretooth in Wolverine. First time he blew me off for a photo op saying he was late even though we were four people and he signed and took photos with others. Second time he signed but said he had to go eat lunch when I asked for a photo op. After he walked a bit I ran and begged and pleaded and he was like “well ok".
Then we have Laura Linney At the time a WHO name for me, but glad I got her cause she was in a few movies I watched, most notably the Exorcism of Emily Rose. She was very sweet and accommodating to every single person.
I also scored a top want, Jimmy Smits who played Senator Bail Organa in Star Wars 2 & 3. He is truly one of the nicest celebs you could ever meet. It is truly refreshing when a celeb you want to meet is friendly on the level of most wrestlers.
There were a couple of dealers who were even abusing is kindness, which was so irritating considering I wanted a photo op. They caused him to personalize and he would ask people’s names. The dealers would say “one for my son joe, one for my brother mathew, etc etc). This is rubbish cause they were glossy pics and the ink could easily be deleted.
Between those he also signed by Revenge of the Sith Bail Organa figure, and he wrote my name on it. I have no idea why he chose to do it on the card rather than the bubble like he did with Lanza (which is how I would have preferred it). But he’s such a nice guy that without even me asking he also signed the back!
After he signed another dealer auto he said he had to go. His driver had my camera ready but he made sure not to leave before snapping the photo op. I thanked him and he thanked me for coming.
If you look at the photo op, you would also notice that the driver of Jimmy Smits takes better photos than almost everybody who has worked a superticket line at LOTR, Signamania, and K&S shows (with Sig, Rob, Dave, and LOTR Dan being the exceptions that allow me to include the word “almost").
Despite not getting the ideal autograph on my figure, the pleasant nature of Jimmy Smits more than made up for it.
Next up we have Scarlett Johansson. Sadly she wasn’t doing pictures, but I did manage to get an autograph. Sadly the marker she was using was crappy and the autograph didn’t turn out well.
Last but not least, my biggest name for the day! I scored a combo with Catherine Zeta Jones!
Other names I got photo ops with:
Anthony Mackie
Christine Lahti
Ken Stott
Alexander Hanson

WWE Elimination Chamber Meets
One of our users wrestlingencounterss met some wrestlers and sent us some pictures.
wrestlingencounterss with Shawn Michaels, Batista, John Morrison, Drew McIntyre and Finlay
wrestlingencounterss with Ricky Steamboat, Steve Lombardi, Jamie Noble, Tyler Reks and Matt Striker
wrestlingencounterss with Josh Matthews, Kelly Kelly, Sarita, Mickey James, Brock Larsen and Amarillo Slim
We got to St. Louis at about 10pm and we checked in all of our stuff upstairs in our room. We were decided on where we should go and when we went back downstairs we heard we JUST missed Shawn Michaels. I was pissed! Someone who regonized me from Myspace said he was going to stop me but didn’t know if he should (what?!?) Anyways we then waited in the lobby for a little while. The first person for me to see what Dean Melenko. I had his page ready and right when he turned around at the check in he put up his cellphone to his ear (bullshit).
Instead of staying around there all day, our group split up. Half stayed at one hotel and half went to the next. I went to the other hotel and right when we got in I see a few familiar faces one being Danthemark from this forum. There were not many fans there at all, only the usual.
The first person we seen walk through was Mickie James. She looked like she was not having it that day, she looked emotionally drained and upset (I think she just need a drink, because she looked super happy about an hour after). No one went up to her because she just kept on truckin. Next was Beth, CM Punk, Luke Gallos, & Morrison (Morrison far behind them). No one went up to Beth because everyone wanted Punk and/or Gallos. No much of a suprise those two walked right passed everyone saying stuff under their breath. I am sure Beth would have stopped had someone stopped her.
Morrison was very cool, he signed everything and took pictures with everyone. He seen that he signed his graph in the WWE_E and said I signed it already, but he realized I wanted the tag team one too.
Then we had Drew Mcyintire walk through who was on his cellphone. I waited until he was done and he was kind enough to take one. Next was Ezekel Jackson (who some people think he was the one to have security get their panties in a bunch). I didn’t ask for a photo since I had one with him before, but asked for him to sign the WWE_E. He seemed cool to me and even asked what the date was so he could put it on there. I don’t believe anyone else got him. Could be wrong though.
I then seen the Bellas and Kelly Kelly walk through (They were not staying there, just visiting). I met the bellas a billion times, so I passed on them, but I need Kelly in the book so I got her twice. She was quiet, but nice. The bellas kept calling them over to sit by them and Pat Patterson. LOL
Funny story on Pat Patterson. He came by our table and was like, (in true Pat Patterson voice) “So who do you guys think are going to win tomorrow?” He seemed really into the answers…the funniest response was when someone said Chris Jericho is going to take it. and He had a SUPER suprised look on his face and was like “Ohhhh really, you think so?” haha, Now we know why he had that look.
By this point security was being complete jerks. They wouldn’t let us go up to anyone at all! Someone said Batista was outside, so I was determined to get out there before security seen me. To my luck, security was not paying attention so I took the other stairs and walked slowly. I seen a flash outside and got my page ready in the WWE_E. I asked him nicely if he would signed it for me and he quickly responsed, “Is this for you?” and I was like, “umm yeah!” he then said, “what is your name?” I told him and he signed it on the page. (Did he really think I was going to sell my 150 + signed WWE_E? lol) He then took a pic with me. And quickly left.
I then seen Mickie (again for the 500 time) and Serena. Serena was super gracious and was smiling the entire time. They were waiting outside for a taxi to watch some blues singers. Pat Paterson comes outside to have a smoke. When Mickie sees him she begins to tell him, “Hey Pat, I have some music coming out on the radio!” and Pat was like, “what?, you have , what? I am not understanding!” She was like nevermind haha…I said outloud, “She is a singing!” It was soo funny because he had no clue what she was talking about!
When we got back to our hotel we went straight to bed. (4am lol). I was playing on getting up at 8am to check Shawn Michaels, but only one other friend wanted to do that with me. We went down there and I seen Dean Malenko walking to get some coffee. I thought to myself this is the perfect time to ask him since he is so rare to get an auto from. He was sitting by himself reading the newspaper and you guessed it talking on the phone..ugh. I waited until he was done and went up to him. He seen me and hesitated in picked up the phone (probably pretending to use it lol) and then put it down only to pick it back up. He didn’t know what to do. I was ready to turn back around because he looked like he didn’t want anything to do with me. I asked him very nicely if he would sign it and he was very hesitant. He then agrees and jokes if he should sign over Debra. I was thinking in my head wow now he is joking…crazy…I was so happy to get the sig and thanked him. He didn’t respond haha!
Right after that all the agents came down to meet with him and they all left for the gym. Then I seen Shawn Michaels (Fully Dressed, no workout gear). i was shocked because I knew he was leaving, we asked for a photo and auto and he said, “I need my coffeeeeee!, but when i am done!” He dropped his bag off outside the store and picked up an energy drink, he sees about 6 fans and mumbles something and walks past everyone. I was like great! He goes to his limo and dropped off his bags. and he ended up coming back and signed for everyone and took pictures. He even signed both of my graphs! it was very cool!
Overall it was a pretty good trip, I even had Brooklyn Brawler and Whippleman walk through our hotel just to get coffee, Brawler came up to me and asked if I wanted my WWE_E signed. I asked if he would sign them all and he agreed…He forgot how to spell the Abe one and spelled Doink wrong! haha. Super nice!
PPV itself was awesome, I had 3rd row and had a great time! Sorry for the long post!
Another one of our users djknightrida met some wrestlers and sent us some pictures.
djknightrida with Daniel Bryan, Sarita and Michael Cole
I thought the stalkin there was pretty bad. Not for lack of people but lack of signing. All of the NXT roster was there but I was only interested in a group shot with all 8 or Danielson. I got one of my wishes.
When Punk and Gallows strolled in a headed for Gallows as I needed a Festus. He and Punk blew everyone off but I was “lucky” enough to Gallows the next day. He refused to sign Festus though. Oh well.
I was happy to meet another member of the SES, Serena. She was nice as could be. Glady signed my Encyclopedia and taking a picture.
s Drew McIntryre and Big Zeke strolled in security started to be dicks. I didn’t want to deal with it and headed to bed shortly there after. Before I was able to do so Batista rolled in, I went down to watch him blow people off, much to my surprise he was signing. By the time I got what I needed he was headed inside and my chance was gone.
The next day things weren’t much better. I picked up a fresh picture with Cole as I haven’t had one in 2 years. He was happy to oblige. He has changed his attitude of late and isn’t an ass as usual.
After the show, no one new came in. Even tried to hit up a local bar but the only people there I’d already seen at the hotel. The stalking scene may have been dry for me but I did get to see a PPV in St. Louis, which was one reason for going, and a Chamber match, the other reason.
I missed Taker getting burned as I wasn’t paying attention during the 50th time I’ve gotten to experience his 10 minute entrance. His pod was right in front of me and he was very pissed off.

Jeff Hardy Signing Reports
Check out the very special MarkedOut.com exclusive Jeff Hardy video message. - Big thanks to BIG BLUE for recording this awesome video.
We will be including every report from every Jeff Hardy signing this week to this post, so keep checking back over the next few days for more reports.
New Jersey
One of our users BIG BLUE met Jeff Hardy, Shannon Moore & Gorgeous George and sent us a report.
BIG BLUE with Jeff Hardy, Shannon Moore & Gorgeous George
Today was a really fun day at the mall at The Fox And The Hound Grill out in Edison New Jersey. I arrived at the mall close to 1 or so. I walked around and killed some time at the food court as I got something to eat. At 2:30 I walked over to Target to get some SRX markers for the signing. As I’m walking back from Target I’m approached by a very cool dude named RJ a member of the board who rarely posts but reads the board.
So it’s around 3 or so and Gorgeous George shows up and parks her car. She seemed very happy in a very good mood. Myself and RJ help bring in boxes for Brian and help set up. Gorgeous George set her table up then went got changed. Please note the crowd was very small at this time. When she came back from getting changed she was talking about her she wanted a Bloody Mary drink so I proceeded to ask her would you like me to buy you a Bloody Mary drink and she responded YES so I did. I also got her to do a video for MARKEDOUT.com so here is the footage and I hope you all enjoy it.
Now I want to say around 4 or so the crowd starts to pick up a bit and there were some fans out unhappy because they didn’t know where to their tickets and just complaining altogether. As I’m sitting hanging out with RJ at Gorgeous George’s table I spot SHOWSTOPPA and his friend Dan in line picking up their tickets. So Showstoppa and Dan decide to join myself anbd RJ by George’s table and we bullshitted for a while waiting for the signing to begin.
Now 5:30 rolls around and Jeff Hardy w/Beth his girlfriend and Shannon Moore show and they looks very happy and having a good time at this signing. At this point myself, RJ, SHOWSTOPPA, and Dan continue to have a good conversation until this signing actually to begin. Jeff and Shannon showed up pretty early which was a plus.
As me having the # 1 ticket we all get in line and right before the signing started Jeff Hardy and Shannon was filming stuff for their website TheHardyShow.com. That went on for about 15 mins or so. As soon as they stopped I called Jeff Hardy over and had him do a video for MARKEDOUT.com
Jeff did ask me what is MARKEDOUT.com. I told him it’s a website where fans meet sports stars, wrestlers and celbs. He said cool he will stop by and check it out sometime. That would be awesome if he did that.
Now 6 comes around and the signing begins and I’m first to go up and I hand all of my stuff to Jeff Hardy to get signed and get a photo op with him. So here is the footage. I hope you all enjoy it.
Overall the signing was pretty good. The only problem I had and others I believe the light were very low and kinda of dark, If your digital camera had a very good flash button then your were good. I really enjoyed myself and a great day. I hope you all like this report and many more to come.

i arrived approx 5:30 for a 6:00 signing; had #13 for photo op and bought 2 autos (encyc and cs fig); there was a decent line to pick up tix but if you pre-ordered, you went right up- i picked up my photo op ticket, paid for my autos, waited about 20 minutes to go into the signing room;
they called 1-25; then 26-50, etc.- so it wasnt really by exact number but by grouping; that was fine though;
only negative was the lighting; i have a good camera with a good flash but could not get a good pic in that room- lucas took 5 pics for me, we tried over and over; jeff was awesome about it, didnt care; the staff finally had enough of me taking pic after pic and after 5 tries, if i couldnt get a good one, it wasnt happening;
but jeff signed my items nicely and was very cool
afterwards, me, lucas and gordon ate in the restauarant area; after we finished, we walked outside on our way to our cars and jeff (who had stepped outside) was on his way back in; i asked him for a quick pic, which he was happy to let me take- the outside picture came out awesome, totally salvaging the photo op portion of this signing for me;
overall, a successful signing for me, mainly because i was lucky enough to get jeff outside; but from an organizational stand point, a well run show; they seemed to have a steady line from 6 until 8:30 so seemed to be a good crowd.

Yesterday, I took the 2.5hr drive to Edison, NJ for the Jeff Hardy signing. AWESOME!!! Jeff is a favorite of mine. I enjoy his work and he has always been a class act. He even remembered me from the Baltimore hotel the night Charlie Haas chased me away when I was seeking a Jeff autograph. Jeff was on his way to the hospital, yet made it a point to come over to me and sign my program anyway.
Jeff was really excited to meet all his fans. He showed up a half hour early, which shocked me. I have seen people show up on time, but early. That was good. The bad was the tickets. My buddy and I preordered 2 combo packages and figured we would pick up the additional autos we needed when we got there. There was a GIANT turnout. The guy who was directing people, not Brian the promoter, told everyone to just get into line. Luckily, I Brian and he told me preorders do not wait. I got my tickets and off I went to Jeff’s table.
Jeff, Shannon and Beth showed up and began filming for The Hardy Show. Its a cool show. Its fun to see the life of The Hardys and also some of the outlandish stuff they do. Jeff started taking the camera around and I immediately screamed out “Itchweeed Rules", which caused Jeff to swing the camera to me and he started to do Itchweeed. Later on, I would also get some camera time when Beth stopped in front of me and I pushed my face right into the lens to cut a promo. I’m a camera whore, if you havent noticed yet.
The line began to move and we were in front of Jeff within minutes. I got a lot of items signed, including a poster that was photoshopped by WFigs very own, Black Swagger, designed by me and printed by Poster Brain. It turned out magnificently and Jeff loved it. Since I got an extra one from Poster Brain, due to a USPS foul up (typical) I gave Jeff the extra one, since he loved it so much. He was pretty shocked that Black Swagger and I made this poster and stopped signing so he could look at the detail. Being the artist he was, I think he was amazed by photoshopping. And Black Swagger truly outdid himself. I’ll mail your 8X10 this week, bro!
They had a large turnout and Jeff was only scheduled for 2 hours. They moved everyone through as fast as possible. I was able to get my picture taken with Jeff. However, the first one did not come out very well. Brian used my camera and I think he zoomed all the way in. Once I gathered my stuff, which I truly loved how they had an assembly line setup so that you didnt have to put your stuff away, as you were getting other stuff out to be signed. I got down to the end of the assembly line and got Shannon Moore in my WWE E. He was very pleasant and was happy to be there. He shook my hand thanked me for coming out. I then saw Beth sitting there and couldnt pass on the photo op opportunity. I should have known she was going to be there and brought my Hardy Show dvd seasons with me. I’m not big on getting dvds or figures signed, which a lot of people are. So I left them. Oh well. No biggie.
I then turn to my buddy Dan and we are looking at our respected pics with Jeff and I show him how mine was all zoomed in and did not like it. Beth came over and said I should take another with Jeff. I said it was no biggie as I didnt want to bother him, as he was really enjoying meeting his fans. But she insisted and I was able to snag a really good photo with Jeff. This time Dan took the picture. LOL!
Overall opinions? The promoter gets an A. Its a solid A. No A+ due to the early confusion, bad lighting cuz it was in a bar’s banquet room, and the zoomed in first photo. But it was very well priced, better than all the other signings this weekend for Jeff, promoter was polite, professional and took care of his customers. He had a wide variety of dvds, 8X10s, etc. for you to purchase to have signed. Thats great for the casual fan who might be swinging by. I thought it really catered to a wide variety of people; kids, adults, hardcore collectors and casual fans. It ranks up there with the top notch professional signings in very category.
Jeff was awesome! He seemed real happy, please leave the drug humor out of this thread. He enjoyed meeting his fans and seeing some of the unique pieces people brought to be signed. Shannon was cool and very thankful for the turnout and Beth was a big sweet heart. I knew she seemed cool from The Hardy Show, but I didnt know how sweet she could be.
As always, some pics for you to glance at. My apologies to those who PMed asking for the report, I was gone all day today and finally had a free moment. Thanks in advance for the comments!
Oh yeah….forgot to mention that Gorgeous George was there too, the WCW chick. She did say she still talks to Randy Savage and she has a 17 yr. old son.

Weekend started out with the Jeff Hardy signing Friday. Ended up at the mall about 4:15 and walked around a bit before going to get in line. Saw Lucas and chatted with him and then Big Blue a while. I could tell things were going to be pretty bad just based upon the line to pick up tickets. Time passed pretty quickly and before we knew it Jeff and Shannon arrived about 30 minutes early. I had a feeling the signing should have started early since they were there but that is the promoters call. Things moved pretty smoothly. I didn’t feel rushed at all. I was able to get Jeff on my Wrestlemania 25 Program and a TNA poster. I also got a couple for a friend, his recent WWE DVD and WM 25 program. Jeff and I chit chatted about the potential of Monday Night Wars again as well as his remarks towards ROH.

Myself with Shannon Moore & Jeff Hardy
I made the ever difficult 5 minute drive from my house to the mall for the signing and met Lanza there around noon. At that time there was absolutely nobody on the line so we simply picked up our pre order tickets and walked around the mall and ate lunch until 2pm when Ira arrived.
The signing was actually the cheapest Jeff signing happening this week. It was a $50 combo that included Shannon Moore, this combo included polaroid only since they weren’t allowing your own camera, but more on that later.
We got on the line around 2:30 and were about 10 back. We had a fun time on the line as we always do, cracking jokes and talking about anything and everything. Once 5pm hit, the advertised start time, word started to spread that Jeff was running late. Well, he didn’t end up arriving until after 6pm. Once he arrived, those of us who had been waiting for over 3 hours were forced to wait another 30 minutes for the “friends and family” of the staff to meet Jeff, all getting photo ops with their own cameras. This pissed me off and I was determined to get a digital photo op no matter what I had to do to obtain it, there was no way I was leaving the store without one.
Once it was my turn, the staff begins throwing my items on the table. I ripped the one staff member who had my poster telling him that I had a special pen I needed it signed in and he replied “we have special pens". I ripped again and this time said directly to Jeff “I have my own pen", which he took and signed my poster beautifully.
At this point, all hell was breaking loose. I was ushered behind the table for my Polaroid and Jeff and Shannon were still signing my remaining items. When I asked if my program was signed, I was told yes but I noticed he signed the covers of both my WWE and TNA programs without signing his WWE page, so I asked him to sign that as well since it was what I wanted. In the end, I ended up with 2 free Jeff autos, how cool is that?!
It was now time for the polaroid. Lanza’s stuff had already been thrown (I am not exaggerating, they were literally throwing the items) on the table and they were signing them. As the polaroid was taken, I was looking at Lanza with my camera, which explains why I am looking into the sunset in that shot.
After that, I stayed back there until Lanza could snap a digital photo. The first one almost came out until one of the staff members blocked Jeff at the last second. Again, the staff yells to get moving and leave, but in my usual fashion I totally ignore them and continue waiting until I get my proper photo op. I finally notice the staff move to the side so I tap Jeff on the arm and tell him that I still needed my photo and he gladly posed.
After finally having my photo op the way I wanted it, I got up and again, against the yells of the staff went infront of the table to take Lanza’s digital photo op. Once that was done, Ira was standing there, about to have his taken when the staff blocked the table and said “I am not going to tell you again, go get your stuff and go". I laughed at him and said I was waiting to help Ira carry his program which he didn’t like and he continued blocking the shot. When it was apparent the guy wouldn’t move, I gave up, considering 2 of 3 digital a success and moved to gather my stuff. I was saddened Ira couldn’t get it but there was nothing I could do.
Despite being a total clusterfuck, I did manage a digital photo op, 2 free Jeff autos. Add that to the fact it’s 5 minutes away and the only $50 combo appearance and it was a real fruitful time.

I drove 2.5 hrs from PA to Middletown for the Jeff Hardy signing. Left my house at 9:20 am, I arrived at 11:35am. I didn’t think this was gonna be this big, boy was i wrong. Practically the whole bottom floor of the mall was people standing waiting for Jeff. They had the line wrapped around the whole mall. I had to go to the back of the line at the far end of the mall to start. About 230pm is when I proceeded to get to the middle of the mall. The guy in back of me was there with his son and he bought us a pizza pie to share, that was really cool. Nicest person I met all day. It wasn’t till 4:30pm when finally I got to meet Jeff and Shannon. The autograph signing was originally only supposed to be from noon to 3pm. Jeff said they would stay later no matter what. I got up there and i could tell that Jeff and Shannon were really tired from this. I got my pics with them and got my WWE_E’s signed and my WHC signed. They look really sharp. Anyways thats my day, it was worth the 4 and half hours waiting for Jeff. I would guess there had to be at least 800 to 1000 people for the signing. I just learned my lesson to show up early next time. LOL

I wasn’t sure I was going to have a ride to this siging, but I figured I would try my luck and ask my Uncle yesterday. He ended up saying yes and we were ready for the 30 minute drive to the signing. Of course since it was last minute and I didn’t want to pay $75 for a Jeff Hardy combo, (Yes, I did just go for Shannon Moore) I was in general admission.
From what I could tell, the siging started right on time so I got over to the GA line around 7 to get a place. The sigining was only supposed to go until 9, but I didn’t get inside until 9:20 and when I left at 9:30 there was still a pretty large group of people left. While I could have done without the 2+ hours in the snow/cold, it was a sacrifice I and many others were obviously willing to make.
Originally my little sister was going to tag along but she backed out because she was feeling well. This happened after I had ordered the 2 autos and 2 pictures online though. Since my Uncle isn’t a fan, I figured what the hell.. I would just take two pictures with Shannon. However, the fact that it was near the end and the guys running the signing just wanted stuff done, I ended up getting one with Jeff and one with Shannon.
I will say I didn’t have much of a chance to talk to either of them, in fact I only talked to Shannon. But once I took my picture with Shan, Jeff did remark that it “Was a very sweet pic". Seeing as this is my third time meeting them both, I can’t complain though.
Overall, the siging could have used more organization outside, but with such a big turnout, I’m sure they did the best they could.

Lucha Libre Invades NJ/NY
One of our users latinoheat578 met some wrestlers and sent us some pictures.
latinoheat578 with Damien 666, Angel, Magno and Super Parka
about 5-6 months ago I had the privilege of attending my very first Lucha Va Voom show in NYC. The company for the most part runs shows out of Mexico and California but wanted to give the East Coast a taste… well, the show in Webster Hall was a complete success. I had the fortune of be-friending one of the wrestlers from the company, Cassandro el Exotico.. which briefly made waves in TNA as ‘Andromeda’, the company’s first transexual wrestler. Whatever his life style, he is a fantastic wrestler and even more fantastic person. He and I would often have conversations on FB about upcoming shows. It was due to knowing him that I knew about a Lucha show in Passaic NJ about 2 months ago that allowed me the honor of meeting what wewantflair dubbed ‘the hogan and savage or Mexico’, Hijo del Santo and current NWA champ Blue Demon Jr. Also there was Octigoncito and Super Porky. I have since followed the Lucha scene more closely than ever. Well, about 5 weeks ago I caught wind of a new show that was taking place this past weekend.. it was 3 shows, 1 in Passaic, NJ… a 2nd show in Harlem (NYC) and a 3rd in Asbury Park. The names on this card were not as huge as Demon and Santo but it was terrific from start to finish. Names included: Cassandro, Magno (who wrestled for Team Mexico during TNA’s World X Cup tourney), Angel (from XPW… then known as Angel, the Hardcore Homo), Super Parka (not La Parka but Super is still big in MX), and lastly my main reason for going to this show.. Damian 666 of WCW and XPW fame. They also had local indie talent as well such as Bandido Jr, Rick Cataldo, Sabian and Ricky Reyes among others.
The wrestlers really don’t get the chance to sign autographs or have vendor tables.. so getting pics and sigs is tricky but doable. It also helped having that connection with Cassandro.. who had assured me he’d take care of any sigs I needed.. The club where the show took place had 2 floors, with the 2nd floor bring where the wrestlers hung and watched the matches… by intermission I was able to get up there and no questions where asked of me.. I assumed it was based on the fact that I know some of the guys and security either figured I was with them.. or I was a wrestler due to my size.. in any event I was golden.
After the show I got to talk to Damian for a while.. who had not been to NJ/NY since WCW closed down. I sported my LWO shirt which he marked out for.. and showed his cell phone wallpaper pic which is a group shot of the LWO… giving me stories of what each guy is doing now… got to meet Magno and Super Parka, both sans mask but were extermely nice. I didn’t want to bother them since they didn’t have masks on but Parka didn’t mind as he’s also spent some of his career without it. Magno carried his mask in a bag so he had no problem throwing it on for a quick picture.
WOW.. this post has gotten long and probably boring.. BUT I’ll leave you with this… they are running another show in APril…more than likely the last week. They plan on again running multiple shows over the weekend. Names booked SO FAR (could change I supposed).
Blue Demon Jr
La Park (La Parka from WCW)
Hijo de Rey Misterio
Puma
Mistico (HUGE WANT OF MINE)
Charly Manson
Octigoncito
and many more… will update as I find out more if anyone is interested in attending…
Also Lucha Va Voom is tentatively scheduled to return to Webster Hall in May. Again, I’ll be more than happy to share info on this.

Bob Newhart Report
One of our users evilgenius met some celebrities and sent us a report.
evilgenius with Bob Newhart & Larry Volstad
I’ve decided to go into Class316 like detail on this report due to Newhart being a huge, huge want of mine and someone I honestly never thought I would meet given his age.
Bob Newhart was scheduled to do a Q&A between two of his films,Cold Turkey and Hot Millions, at the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica on Feb 19th. Now when the Pac 6 were out here I decided to pick up my tickets to this way in advance because I figured Bob would draw a sell out crowd. I also knew going in that this wasn’t going to be an easy meet and greet like the Pac 6 had with the cast of Better Off Dead and there would be a good chance that it wouldn’t even happen. So the day finally comes and me and my girlfriend show up at about 7pm(the 1st film started at 7:30). As I had suspected, the theatre was already packed. I always like to sit on an end seat as far in the back as I can for these sort of things so I can get easy access to guests if need be and so I can oversee the theatre to know where everyone is sitting(or if they are even there). Luckily there was one end seat available and it was pretty far in the back-so far so good.
The theatre is jammed, sold out actually. The 1st movie begins and no sign of Bob. This worries me because I figure he’s just going to come at the end of the 1st one,do his Q&A,and leave before the 2nd one begins. After the movie ends(which was very funny BTW),Newhart is introduced to answer questions and I totally mark out, literally hanging on every word he has to say. He points out legendary creator of “All In The Family” and “The Jeffersons” Norman Lear in the audience, who happens to be be sitting right next to my girlfriend and we didn’t even realize it. Bob asks Norman to join him onstage which he does. Also pointed out in the audience was from the show Newhart and “Larry,Darryl, and Darryl” fame John Voldstad(one of the Darryls). All I will say about the Q&A was it was nothing short of amazing.
Now one thing I noticed is that when Newhart was introduced,he came in from the front side door where the screen was, which confirmed my fears-He was brought in through the back and would probably be leaving the same way, after the Q&A and not after the 2nd picture. The Q&A ends, Norman Lear heads out the front while Newhart starts making his way out the back, signing some autos along the way. Now I would have loved to get a pic with Norman Lear but I was too nervous about losing even one extra minute trying to get Bob,who I’ll reiterate,is an all time top want. Lear headed out and I ran up to where Bob was. There was a ton of people in front of me handing him things to sign and a few people even managed to get photos with the guy. My only shot, though was to wait right by the exit to get him as he was leaving because it would have been literally impossible to get through the crowd in time.
I time it perfectly. I watch him sign one more auto and head for the exit. Just as I’m ready to pounce in a security guard steps in front of me and asks for a photo with him! I can’t believe it! Newhart does this and then continues on as the security blocks me from my idol. As my chances are very quickly slipping away, I watch Bob disappear into the darkness of the corridor. At this point the security guy turns his back for a split second, so I dart past him and dash down the corridor. At the end I see a bunch of guys escorting him while another bunch of guys with umbrellas are waiting for him to step outside so they can take him to his car. I squeeze past the escorts just in time to reach Bob before he steps outside, telling him what a huge fan of his I am and if he would be kind enough to take one more picture. He says absolutely and thanks me for being such a big fan. I make one of the umbrella holders take the pic and then he is off!
Looking back I could have gotten Lear as well but I just didn’t want to take the chance. I got a top five!!!
When I was walking back in I stopped to chat to John Voldstad for a bit about his role in the Civil War mini series “The Blue and the Gray” which he was shocked that I remembered him from. I had met him over ten years ago but decided to go ahead and get another pic since he was right there
I stayed for the 2nd movie which was just as good as the 1st. All in all a fantastic night with one of my all time idols.

Wrestling Meets
One of our users Playboy_Jesse met some wrestlers and sent us some pictures.
Playboy_Jesse with Gail Kim, Melina & Honky Tonk Man
I haven’t had time to log in so I got a report from last week and last night to post.
1st one is a Gail Kim & Evan Bourne signing in Lansing MI -
Well I went up to Michigan to hang out with another girlfriend of mine for V-day weekend, and I took her to a wwe house on Fri night. Before we did that, I checked out the signing they had at a local phone company. The line was decent as it’s not a big city, so I went at the last minute to get in line around 430 (it started at 5 and lasted an hour). It was a good thing as it was cold! The line went pretty smoothly, as they wanted to get everyone an autograph before the hour mark. They did it, and I went up to the table and told Evan how talented he is and to keep up the good work, he appreciated it. I didn’t get a pic as i cared more for him signing the wwe_e. Gail Kim was sweet, I said good luck in her match and was able to get a quick photo of us. Side note : As i handed them the encylcopedia, they both glanced at it for a moment, and gail said “wow look at eve", and evan nodded “yeah i know” lol.
Melina Signing, Dallas Tx -
This signing was at an auto show, so me and my bro made the drive around 4 and got there right on time at 7pm, the line wasn’t big at all to my satisfaction, and she was taking her time with everyone, no rush at all. I have her sunnylized but my bro insisted we go since shes his fav diva. I got her on the wwe_e and an 06 wwe promo. I talked to her for a bit and made a joke on how this old fan brought her gifts, and i wish i could have did the same, she goes awww. i wished her a speedy recovery and said i missed her in the ring. she replied “omg me too!” lol, and she told me to be safe driving home. so sweet
After that we went to check out the “wrestler booth", which had luke bushwacker, honky tonk man, greg valentine, and virgil. Besides virgil who i met in houston, to my knowledge, none of them had ever did a signing in TX so i hit up Honky Tonk 1st. I had the most memorable encounter with Honk, as I approached him to give him a hand shake, he turned his head in a way where i turned mine to see what he was looking at and he goes “damn look at that ass on that girl", haha I replied “oh yea I can work with that one, I’ve seen some other dimes here too". Virgil was laughing his ass off at us. I asked Honk if he could sign the encyclopedia, and he goes ” oh man company policy, i have to charge you 20 for that". I don’t know what “company policy” he was referring to being the building or wwe, but i paid him like a used car salesman, and got the book signed as thats what i wanted. Honk did give me and my bro a photo op along with it so i guess it worked out? Then i got greg valentine in the wwe_e for $10. I’ll have to hit up luke next time around.

I hope some of you know him at least. He did his TV taping in San Francisco last time in November, and didn’t get a chance to meet him. This time I was determined to get a picture with him. After the show, we waited at the back exit for only about 15 minutes, and there he was.

Celebrity Meets
Myself with Keith Carradine, Laurie Metcalf, Annie Potts, Dylan Baker & Jimmy Smits
Today Lanza and I went for some celebrities and had a fairly fruitful day. The first meet was Keith Carradine, Special Agent Frank Lundy on Dexter. He was super cool and my top want for the day. Our next meet was Laurie Metcalf, Jackie Harris on Roseanne. She was really nice and happy to stop for us, even asking if we wanted her to remove her hat for the photo op. I was happy to add her to my cast photo already signed by John Goodman. The next meet was Annie Potts of Ghostbusters fame. She was also real nice and happy to sign and pose. The following meet was Jimmy Smits from Dexter, NYPD Blue, Star Wars, etc. He was really nice and since this was my second time meeting him I simply got my photo op signed which he liked and asked me where it took place. The final meet of the day was a surprise. Dylan Baker who starred in Trick ‘r Treat one of my favorite horror movies and played Dr. Connors in Spiderman 2.
lanza218 with Keith Carradine, Laurie Metcalf, Annie Potts, Dylan Baker & Jimmy Smits
As Woodmo has already reported, we met some celbs yest- but heres some backstory
As we were waiting for Caradine- a group of 9 men continued to circle us, asking us for cigs and money- and making noises at us, Woodmo took care of the situation by noising back at them- Also 2 random men in a truck took a ton of pics of the area- so we assumed death would be immenenit, (Please exscuse all my spelling errors) Caradine showed up- a def top want of mine- Also inscribed Lundy on the photo! 5 Minutes Later Laurie Metcalf came, we recognized her by her smiling at us, putting down her stuff, and happily posing and signing and commenting on our stuff- really really nice woman. Next up was a really big want of mine- Annie Potts- she was impressed by my ghostbuster fig, said she has the exact one- but her son opened it and she cant find another one anywhere- Yes that is a Speaker City Hat I have on. After about an hour or so another top want of mine Jimmy Smits. He commented on the Miguel prado Shot- and even signed it that way! Said He had alot of fun on Dexter Also said hes never seen the Star Wars Figs- and inscribed The Force is With you on it!- Although after giving me my sharpie back he wrote on the photo- which I will fix when framing it (Which I hardly frame anything but Smits made me now…lol). The last meet was totally random- we saw Lucy Liu and Dylan baker- funny thing was I recognized Baker and immediately went up to him- He Happily posed- I mentioned SpiderMan 4, he said he was heartbroken as he was defintly going to be in it- he couldnt say what capicity- but hinted he woud have been the Main Villian- I didnt even notice Liu.

New Age Outlaws Report
One of our users wrestlingencounterss attended a New Age Outlaws signing and sent us a report.
 New Age Outlaws signing autographs
i decided to go with two friends to any indy show that was advertising the New Age Outlaws to be there, so we figured why not. We were in no hurry to get there because we “assumed” there would not be that many people there, but damn were we wrong! We got there at 6:30 when the doors opened and we seen a lot of people being turned away, they said it’s sold out. We were like, not way! We seen at least 50 people be turned away, which is an insane amount for an indy show. So we decided we didn’t’ want no for an answer and we ended up in the building by saying we were with some other people who already had gotten in. They finally agreed and let us in. We paid $12 to get in and had to stand, but we found two chairs for the girls in our group.
We figured out where the guys were going to be signing so we stayed close to that table. The guy told us it would be $5 for each autograph and $5 for a picture with them. This was an awesome deal couldn’t pass it up! So I got them to sign all the WWE Encyclopedia graphs. The line (or should I say no line at all) was insane, there was no structure to it and it was all out war. One guy fell and that caused his mother to fall as well. It was crazy, so i passed on the picture with them. No room to walk.
When Billy was signing his pages, he was like, “Damn how many pages am i on?” lol
